My name is Mallesham i am a Daily wage labour, my wife name is Maniratnam our son name is Prajwal he is 1 years old we belong to Chintapudi West Godavari AP,"When he was born on 10-12-2022, we were filled with immense joy. In our small and impoverished world, he brought a radiant light of happiness. My husband and I made a promise to do everything in our power to provide him with a life we were denied, especially when it comes to education. We didn't want our children to suffer the same fate of illiteracy that we did," shared Maniratnam, sitting by her son's side in the hospital room."But our happiness was short-lived. These past one years have been an agonizing journey for my child and our family. Now, you are our only hope."

When Maniratnam's son was approximately one month old, she noticed that he was restless and not feeding properly. This raised concerns, prompting Maniratnam and her husband to take him to the hospital.After several checkups and tests, it was discovered that their newborn son had congenital heart disease. The doctors recommended that the baby be kept in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and undergo a heart surgery..
"My husband works as a laborer and doesn't earn much. When we were informed about the treatment costs, we realized that it amounted to lakhs of rupees. We were at a loss about what to do.In search of a solution, we visited several government hospitals in the city, hoping to receive some news that could ease our burden. Unfortunately, they either demanded lakhs of rupees or turned us away."

All the savings they had accumulated throughout their lives were being spent on medical checkups and consultations. They even resorted to staying on platforms to avoid additional expenses. They sacrificed meals for the sake of their son.
However, this continued for 1 years, and they didn't realize the toll it was taking on their health until Maniratnam husband, Mallesham, also suffering from Health issues.

Meanwhile, Mallesham son's health also began to worsen, and an open heart surgery became the only option to save his life.
However, Maniratnam's son surgery made it challenging for him to work regularly, which had a significant impact on the family's source of income.
Despite all the challenges, they were determined not to lose their precious and only child the parents were relieved to bring their son back home. However, their son's suffering was far from over.
Due to his condition, the child's physical and mental growth have been severely affected. Doctors have stressed the urgency of the surgery to prevent further suffering. Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery is estimated to be Rs. 500000/- lakh s  an amount that his parents cannot afford.
